The Gettysburg Association is sponsoring a day of in-person boundary training open to all authorized ministers of the Keystone Conference.  

The morning session is basic boundary training and the afternoon session is an advanced boundary training (see descriptions below).  Each session is $25 or $50 for the two sessions.  Lunch (cost by donation) for those attend either or both sessions will be served at the host church.  

Rev. Matt Hoover will be leading each of the boundary training sessions.

There will not be a hybrid/online option for this day. In person at Trinity UCC, 60 E. High St. Gettysburg, PA 17325

9:00am – Noon – “Basic Boundary Training” Refresher

During this refresher course, we will revisit the foundational principles of maintaining healthy boundaries including self-care, intimacy, and power dynamics. This will engage these topics through discussion with each other and reflection on case studies.  (3 hours of basic boundary training or continuing education hours if basic boundary training requirements have already been met.)

1:00pm – 4:00pm – Advanced Boundary Training: Reflecting on Some Current Challenges

During this course, participants will engage and reflect on some contemporary challenges in Boundary Awareness including how we as people of faith engage in the realm of politics, technology, money, and other topics.  (3 hours of advanced boundary training)
